Specializing in storytelling and advocacy, Faaris focuses on social, political, ecological, and environmental issues in Somalia, capturing changes on the ground.  His role emphasizes themes of social and environmental justice. Faaris's collaboration with the Dryland Solutions Community underlines his ability in peacebuilding and reconciliation initiatives. His expertise in communication and media is essential in fostering dialogues and understanding, vital for resolving conflicts and establishing resilient communities in challenging environments.
